The Vesica Pisces symbolises a harmonious union of feminine and masculine energies. From this sacred union there is infinite potential for creation, held in love, beauty and magic.
Every person has both feminine and masculine aspects of their psyche and while it is not wise to try to change other people, you can choose to change yourself, so sacred union begins within. As energy always does, this emanates into our outer world, creating relationships which reflect our own state of consciousness and contributing to global shifts in consciousness.
In a person, a relationship or a world where there are healthy expressions of both feminine and masculine energy in balance, celebration and support of one another, real harm is not possible.
The supression of the feminine principle [in both women and men] especially over the last two thousand years has enabled the ego to gain absolute supremacy in the collective human psyche. If the balance of male and female energies had not been destroyed on our planet.....we would not have declared war on nature, and we would not be so completed alienated from our Being. The sacred feminine was declared demonic and an entire dimension largely disappeared from human experience.
But things are changing rapidly now. With many people becoming more conscious, the ego is losing its hold on the human mind.
A new species is arising on the planet. It is arising now and you are it!
- Eckhart Tolle, A New Earth
How we weave together feminine and masculine energies, how they relate to one another on physical, emotional, mental and spiritual levels within ourselves is a theme which we can explore through Yoga, Shakti Dance, Meditation, Psychospiritual Development, Sacred Cycles, working with Spirit and Nature, Tantra and Energy Work. For an example of workshop content for this theme, see the Workshops page.
Being a women and someone who learns by experience and embodiment, I am not an expert on men's personal development work(!) but I do work with and teach how healthy expressions of masculine consciousness in any person can support, facilitate and exhalt their own feminine consciousness.
I salute the light within your eyes where the whole Universe dwells. For when you are at that center within you and I am that place within me, we shall be one.
